The address doesn't prove anything. it could be a computer glitch or a myriad of other things that caused the problem other than a crime. That's why it's up to Barclays to investigate but even they probably won't.

 

I know this is disconcerting but if the police tried to investigate every credit card issue, you never see them investigate anything else.  In the grand scheme of things it's just not high on the list of priorities and they really have no way of doing anything even if they wanted to. There's zero evidence that any kind of crime even occurred.

 

There at thousands of credit card fraud caes daily that even the card companies who lose the money never follow up on.
