Just had a pleasant experience with Barclay. I have had a rewards card for about 10 months now. I append for an NFL card in March and was approved for 7.5k. I had 1.5k on the rewards. It became obvious that the NFL card was useless, but I loved the rewards card. I apped for the US Airways card , but was shot down. I wanted this to replace the NFL card. Instead, I asked Barclays to close the card and consolidate both CLs onto the rewards. 5 mins later I have 9k on the rewards card. I didn't need more credit, just a more useful card. Accomplished. Barclay Rewards is a very good card
