Re: Barclay's Apple Financing Visa

I requested a CLI and analyst pointed out I had too many recent inquiries (4 on the same day). No luck '.'

The only options that I know of are hitting the love button, and calling the backdoor number.

Re: Barclay's Apple Financing Visa

Call the backdoor number and ask for a credit analyst.  They are normally in regular business hours (9-5).  In my experience, they are very nice and helpful, but may also pull your CR again, to "obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information."  I would also recommend explaining to them the same reason you explained to us when they ask why you want your limit raised a second time.

Current:
TU (5/14/14): 796 (Inquiries; 8/23/13)
EQ (3/23/14): 791 (Inquiries: 8/23/13)
EX (9/24/13): 780 (Inquiries: 7/2/12; 11/20/12; 7/30/13; 8/23/13)

Goals: No new inquiries for 2014, 800 for all CRs by 12/31/14

Re: Barclay's Apple Financing Visa

Congrats on the Barclaycard and nice limit! $3500 isn't too shabby. I was approved for $2700 back in January and I love my MacBook Pro! Now I want an iMac. Maybe next 0% financing promo. Smiley Wink

AFAIK when I talked to a rep. before about the Apple financing its year round you just need to call in and request it beforehand. That may be wrong but that's what the rep said.

You could call the back door number and let them know that you didn't realize it would be so much for the 2 computers, so you need another $1k. The likelihood is that you'd be approved, but be aware that they might do a second HP. You can ask for the same pull to be considered. But when I reconed the day after approval, they did a 2nd HP, even tho they said they would be using the same HP from my app. It's worth it, tho, if you want to get the second computer.

I want to thank everyone for the replies, here is the update

I called to speak with a barclays credit analyst today, and just my bad luck the analyst i spoke with would not grant an increase in my credit limit and spoke in a sense that I should be greatful that I was even approved believe it or not, the analyst did offer to move some of my credit line from my B&N card but I did not want to do that , but today work out well Best Buy had a sale on the mac pro so I purchased two best buy cards 200.00 from the supermarket with my Amex BCP hopefully i will get the 6%,  had a few amex, discover reward  gift cards, also I live in MA this was a no sales tax weekend, thanks to the credit analyst rejection I made out pretty good, purchased a mac pro for 1,054.00 original price 1454.00 plus I have 18 month financing with my BBRZMC .  My first time owning a mac and loving it!!!
