Barclay's CLI after only five months?

So I got my Trav Amex almost six months ago. I should get that auto CLI at the end of this month.
However, what would happen if I do that online CLI request thingy? Is that a HP?

Has anyone rec'd a CLI with Barclay's after just five statements? I know I will probably wait til the six month mark lol but I'm just curious. I want to get my Travelocity Amex from $6,500 up to $10,000. I have had high util though, but only on this card. Currently, I owe like $5,200/$6,500, BUT it's at 0%, and I'll pay it off before it expires ;-)

I would say the 6 month mark could bring you a CLI. I got an auto CLI on my 7th statement and auto CLI's are SP's

HP's are only if it's customer initiated CLI (for most creditors; some still SP for a customer initiated CLI's like GE)

I would try to bring your util on this card down before attempting any CLI.

Yeah, I'll prob pay $500-$1,000 on it before that 6th statement cuts. :-)
Even with that account though, my overall util is like 10-15% :-)

Plus I have several accts with much higher limits that havent reported yet! I should let those report too first!
Thanks!

My CLI request (after 6 months) was a HP (Barclay Frontier rewards card).

Re: Barclay's CLI after only five months?

I got Travelocity Amex last summer and I use the card every month. I got auto cli after 8 months and they increased CL from $5K to $8.2K.
