Barclay's Inquiries - Probably a dumb question

Hey everyone, 

Back in the beginning of February I got approved thru the Apple store for $1300 on a Barclay's Visa.  Called and was able to recon to $1800 (thanks to reading this board over the years - never would have thought they would do something like that).  The person I talked to at Barclay's was really cool.  From my one experience with them everything I've read about their great customer service seems true.

Anyway, I know they don't like to see CC inquiries for a while, and I really don't have any intentions of applying for anything for a while.  But I am thinking about switching cell phone providers in a month or so when my current contract expires. I know they all run credit checks so my question is if cell phone credit checks show up the same way credit card credit checks do, and if so, does Barlcay's care as much about them? 

It's not a big deal if I have to wait and go contract free for a bit, just wondering how all this works.

As long as your util. is OK, your treating their card good and your files are looking good i wouldnt worry about INQ's with barclays

I agree that you'll probably be ok ~ just don't go nuts and open a bunch of new CCs for the first 6 months or so......
