I applied over the phone and got what appears to be the standard "we'll let you know."

Just got an e-mail:

"We received your application for the Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard. We are currently reviewing the information provided and will notify you when our review is concluded. Please be aware it may take up to 10 days to complete our review. We will contact you for additional information, if necessary. "

Is this a normal thing or should I start practicing my recon rehearsal spiel???

Does one wait until it posts on the internet checkup site or, should I call backdoor sooner than later??? I don't want to look like a spaz.

better if you call now. I just called ge regarding the 7 day msg and they just asked me a bunch of questions to confirm my identity.

Call now. I had the same thing, and they just asked a few questions, and boom - approved.

Good Luck! I got the iTunes card from Barclay online just a few days ago.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.
