Re: Barclaycard Arrival Approval!

No- shouldn't be. You can ask. I'm pretty sure it will be the same pull they used for the application. I feel pretty certain that they pulled TU for your app. Everyone that has applied has gotten a TU pull. I like that about Barclays. :smileyhappy:

Re: Barclaycard Arrival Approval!

Congrats! I got this card about two weeks ago and LOVE it... Barclays is fast at posting points no waiting a month for them to post. This will be my main card now as the points post fast and I have received so many extra points, love the 2x everything...

Re: Barclaycard Arrival Approval!

if you want to recon the Barclays CL, it will be a HP.

My gf didn't get the World MC initially since she was approved for 1.5k. Called recon, got a HP CLI, and qualified for the world MC.

Well- that's definitely bad news. Wouldn't hurt to try even though. :smileyhappy:. Worst thing they can say is- no HP- no CLi. :smileyhappy:.

Re: Barclaycard Arrival Approval!

you will like the card, especially the sign-up bonus. :smileyvery-happy:

My experience with barclays so far is a lot better than what I initially expected. It's a nice no-frills travels cashback card that gives 2% across the board.

Re: Barclaycard Arrival Approval!

The HP is unfortunate, but perhaps if I find some time on Friday morning I will give them a call to see what can happen with a soft pull. If its a no go, I can wait for CLis or re-evaluate and ask for an HP in 6 months. I have more than enough credit available right now to achieve my FICO goals, and I don't actually use the CLs anyway haha. I always pay my balances to zero by the due date because I refuse to live in anything but a cash-only financial position. The difference between what i do now and what I did 12 months ago is that I gain rewards now. :smileyhappy:

Thanks to all of you for continuing to provide a wealth of knowledge for my use!
