I just saw on WSJ (it's behind a paywall so I'm not going to link it) that the head of Barclay's credit card division has left and will be going to JPM in January.

I'm not shocked about CashForward.  I only got it for the sign-up bonus.   It's basically a worse version of QuickSilver.  I was thinking of closing my CashForward and reallocating the CL to my Barclay Rewards WMC.

Not to loose the poster's focus ... noticed that the Barclay Ring MC apps are gone too. It seems on the Barclay Ring Community Board leadership acknowledges the absence of the applications portal. What is Barclay's doing ... Brexit?

So are there no downgrade options for the Arrival+ anymore? By that, I mean a no-AF card where you can still retain the miles earned

The app page for Ring disappeared a few months ago the same day that the Arrival+ bonus dropped from 50K to 40K points.

I think a lot of these discontinued cards are still available to PC. Most people downgrade the Arrival+ to the NAF Arrival even though that card has been closed to new apps for a long time.
