Barclays - Can I request a special offer that just expired?

Barclay's has been sending me balance transfer/use how I like checks with at 3.99% APR all Summer. I didn't use them. The last ones expired Oct 1st. Well, now I want to get a bedroom set for my girls and that offer would come in handy. Anyone have experience requesting an offer that recently expired?

There is no guarantee that the same offer may be available (or that they would honor it) but there are times if you contact them, that they may have a better BT offer/terms than what is either provided online (if available) or the one which was mailed to you.  However, YEMV.  Just call them, never hurts to ask.

No go.  The person I spoke to said that those checks are generatred from the marketing dept. She couldn't extend the offer but more of those or something else might be available in the future.

I was just looking around my account and came across this -

So I didn't receive any checks but the transfer offer is available online. I guess I should start watching all of my cards for special promotions. They don't always notify you when something is available.

I have been using these checks since 2007 from Barclay Airtran to Priceline and NFL. Don't need to call. It works if you use the check before it expires. Just check the expiration date. I love Barclay Visa Signature to death!

If it's online you can still call and let them deposit the money to your checking account. It usually take about 5 business days. Just call and let us know.

i'm sure you'll get another same offer from them soon...i've been getting that BT offer the past 3 months with different  expirations...still ain't bitting tho heh

I also had mine expire, but when I checked the mail today an whole new set of checks that expire in January 2014! Maybe you get the same thing?

Mailmain brought me a fimilar envelop a couple of hours ago. Opened it to find some checks that are good until Jan 2nd.
