Just did a barclays recon and the first guy i talked to declined my application so i called back 
and talked to a very nice lady named Dawn and she apprloved me for $2,000!!!!
VERY HAPPY!!!
THAT WILL BE MY THIRD RECON IN 2 DAYS SO FAR I HAVE RECONED:
CITI: $3,000
DISCOVER: $1,000
BARCLAYS $2,000

My EQ is 675
The reason for denial was they said my balances were to high but when i called i explained to her the situation and explained how i pay way more then the minimum she understood i was being responsible with my credit cards and and i have no late payments on my credit report!

she gave me $1,000 credit limit and i believe 19.99%. I could be mistaken though

Thats still not a bad way to get your foot in the door with Discover. I've heard of people getting very smally starting limits and after just a few months a decent sized CLI or Interest rate reduction
