Barclays Rewards denial even after Recon

You should app for the Apple card. Not the greatest perks other than 0% Apple financing but it's the easiest card to get and will get you in the door.

It's the first and only Barclay card I apped for.

Ok.  But I can only use it with the Apple products right?  What is the best way to go about applying for it?  I just don't want another HP and have to go through this again.  Let me know.  Thanks!

Your scores too low. Listen to trc. Get in door first. Then worry of better cards get that score over 650 fico at least.  But here's hope. With 615 tu. Get barclays visa.  It's not just for apple. Well it's worth the other hp.  To get in door.  How many recent baddies. Something holding score down.  But good luck.

Should I app for it on the link you gave me (that website says it is having technical issues btw), or call recon back and ask them if I am approved for that particular card?

No recent baddies.  Just negative student loans that I am rehabbing as we speak and a coupld charge offs from several years ago.  They are little nit pick stuff.  I recently paid my BOA charge off.

Yes, I want a 3rd card.  For now.  This time next year, or maybe sooner if things come together I will apply for the ones I really want.  But have to crawl a bit more first.

Just go to apple store online. Click financing at bottom of page. It will take you to Barclays website. Really easy card to get. They will ask how much you plan to spend. Remember. This will affect the limit they give. Say about 2-3 k. Boom. That easy. Good luck.

Wow.  You think it will be that easy?  And it will report to all 3 bureaus and I can use anywhere?  From there I will have my foot in the door with Barclays and can move up the ranks as things improve for me from a credit perspective?  Thanks again for your help.
