Im interested in the arrival card but already got denied due to too many new accounts. Could my wife apply for this card using my income? She is and will be unemployed for atleast the next 6 months because we are about to have a baby in the next few weeks. Is this wrong to do? The 2x is what im interested in primarily for bills. and as an everyday card. seeing as the CSP is limited on 2x points. Any insight?
I thought the arrival w. the af gets 2x points on everything and a 10% kickback when using statement credit towards travel purchases. I may just have to wait then because she wont have anything to put in the employer section.
To use your income, you pretty much have to joint apply. Lying about income can have some bad consequences. Is there a reason you don't want to attempt a joint application?
well i didnt even know that was an option. when i appd it asked if i wanted to add another card member but i think they only asked for the name and maybe the d.o.b. i will see if i can find it on the app.
Call them if you can't figure it out and maybe someone over the phone can point you towards how to do that.

this is what i meant. couldn't get my thoughts straight. you should call in and ask though. some banks let you use household income, but like lexie said.......if they want paystubs or tax docs, that can get tricky. if in doubt, call and ask their CSRs.
I called barclay yesterday and they explained. 40k miles = $200 cashback, or $400 worth of travel expenses.
so if u want cashback only, this is just a 1% card.
if you don't mind redeeming for travel expenses, its 2% card.
there're other better cashback cards that offer higher percentages, such as the cash+, but if u were denied by barclays, i wouldn't recommend you try anything else either for the time being.
