@ddemari wrote:a little over 12+ which is extreme lol. they gave me back my limit but said, "you do realize some people will never open that many cards in their life"? Yes, I understand that. I wouldnt worry about AA unless you do some extreme things. even then, if you can tell them about it, they do have good escalted csr's.
Uh-oh, Last month I opened 8 new accounts. My Rewards was my first card I had with Barclays and got that 7 months ago. Got the Sallie Mae last month. My Barclays score went up 2 points. Now 756. I got like 3inqs on TU now. Just got a 1000 auto on Rewards on 5/6/15. Went up in available credit 30,000 and my debt is 11%.
The scary part of your story is that they dropped your limit after having the card 6 months. I would think AA would happen immediately(or a couple of months after to give all the new accounts a chance to appear). Waiting until it reached 6 months made it seem you were out of the woods.

I have seen monthly increases, no luck with the two a month yet. I just wait until they do a SP, I tried a couple times before that and no Luv, however each time right after a SP I have gotten increases, 500, 1k, 1.5k and another 1,5k today.

Well, I post a lot.
But this morning I got one at 16 days, after having applied for a CLI on the 5th, 6th, 7th and now 8th of this month. So i'm reasonably sure it can be done at 16 days.

I've been hitting the luv button for Discover every 2 weeks for a $1k increase.
every 2 weeks????? wow... I'm never that brave
@NRB525 wrote:This is why I will probably never apply for any Barclays card ever again. Too jumpy. I've dealt with CLD in my past, it's not the end of the world, but it is in my past
I would not worry about them closing your account, just, in my opinion, be aware that Barclays is not a sharing bank: They don't seem to want to share their customers with any other CCC. Enjoy the $800, and try not to p!$$ them off
Good luck!
X2.

Almost makes me regret shredding my It offer yesterday...almost. Discover is still least useable at the places I visit (even less than Amex). 16 day CLI's are crazy!
