Can anybody give any insight as to what might fall under the category of utilities for Barclay's. Obviously electricity would count but what about cable/internet. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I charge my cable bill, gas, water and sewer and receive double points on all charges, so I'm assuming they consider them Utilities.
Thankya!

Was ATT now TMO, both x2. My Time Warner x2 as well.
My experience when I had the card was that anything you would call a utility, so did Barclays, so that was good. I had wireless, wireline, internet and cable all on my telephone bills, so not a detailed test, but from others here it seems to work for all those individually. My gas, electricity and water bills charged a surcharge (greater than 2%) for credit card usage so afte testing one of the once, I stopped charging them to the card!
Does anyone know if car insurance counts towards Utilities for 2x points? I wouldn't think that it does, but I thought it was worth checking for some extra rewards.
Thanks in advance!
