Whats the best way of applying for a Barclays card with a 653 middle score (TU).

That usually comes up for every website that you do an offer for. Usually above that or on the same page it might say no results found. However just because no results were found doesnt mean you will be denied.

Sometimes they gave you a offer and you may still being denied

I applied for the Barclays Rewards MasterCard right at their website. I was approved with a TU score of 648.


Starting Score: 382 - 418 (2005) -- Current Score: 628 (TU08) -- 661 (Beacon 5.0) -- Goal Score: 750+

 That means that the website could not match you with any pre-approved cards. Of course that doesn't mean you won't get approved, just means that there are no pre-approved cards right now.

 

Keep checking that link.. If you get pre-approved, you should get a screen that looks something like this...
