So, I woke up this morning, poured a cup of coffee, signed in mfFico and nearly fainted when I read that Amex claimed that they haven't received a payment from me since 2008 and reported it to the credit bureaus. I immediately called the Amex credit department and calmly explained the situation. After 5 minutes of research, the representative notified me that it was indeed an error and said it will be removed from my reports within 72 hours. Thank goodness that I check my reports one a month.
OMG...what an error! At least they were able to sort it out for you,
You sign into myFICO AFTER pouring a cup of coffee?
