Well, I just couldn't stand it, any longer. I needed to know.
I need some sort of afirmation that I was doing something right.
I called the CS# and went through the automated system to request a CLI. I've been a customer since 09 (given a $500CL) and have been an "Elite" customer after just a few months of being issued a basic card.
Well, I asked for a $2000 total CL - but was declined (not sure if it was a SP or HP), but the countered (again, automated system) that I was approved for a total CL of $1500 and to say whether or not I accepted the increase, I said yes!
I'll wait to see if I get HP or SP updates from USAA CMS, then I might try to contact orchard and request the same.
Either way, it's a big step for me, as small as it may seem.
Good for you, congrats! $1500 is a nice increase. And mentioned in the GC thread, GEMB means that it should be soft. Enjoy your new limit!

My Orchard Bank card is HSBC and was contemplating asking them for a CLI as well. Do we collectively know whether they to do SP or do they HP for CLI request?

When I asked for a CLI on my OB account, it was a soft pull. But, make sure to ask the CSR first and stress that you don't want them to put the request through unless it will definitely be a SP.

I got increases on both of my HSBC cards last month and they were SP.
Got it!
