Does anyone have experience with Bellco CU in Denver, and specifically this card?

Looking around the Bellco web pages. It appears that
for cashback 3,000 points redeem as $25 ( 2.5x, 1.5x for cash back ).
Each point worth 0.8333.

You can redeem 10000 pts for $100, so it becomes 3%/2%
I couldn't find if everything else is 1pt/$ though, or if it's only the 3x/2x categories that earn points.

Despite being Denver's largest credit union, Bellco is rather meh. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and they screwed over two of my co-workers. Certain Bellco branch locations also have quite a few bad Yelp reviews if that matters to you. I am not a membr of Bellco due to their awful service. And their rates are nothing to write home about either. They have the high rate checking account sure; but your Consumers CU handily beats Bellco.
What exactly about these points interests you? You have Arrival +, NFCU Go Rewards, Amex, AA and CSP. Would these "Colorado Rewards" points really benefit you? I believe we have conversed in the past and from what I recall you live in CA. You live in CA but do not seem interested in the Golden 1 Platinum Rewards card. I would think that the 3% cash back on gas, groceries and restaurants on the Golden 1 card would outweigh these Bellco points.
I am kind of annoyed that you can have the Golden 1 card and I can't-and you don't even want it! LOL I also do not know why Bellco allows out-of-state applicants...
Anyway, not attacking you...I just really do not care for Bellco or points cards for that matter. The fact that they still list Sports Auhtority as one of the 3X categories says a lot about them. Sports Authority closed last year. They increase the lending rates on their website overnight but can't be bothered to remove Sports Authority as one of the catagory examples....

They have some categories that are bonuses I don't have on other cards (I highlighted them in blue, although I apparently forgot to mention that's WHY I did it in my post It's good to know about their MEH reputation though. I didn't use them when I lived in Denver because I was fortunate enough to be able to join Boulder Valley CU.
It was more curiosity - it looked like it might have some good categories under 3x that I wouldn't get elsewhere. I probably won't go for it as they sound "memberlicious" - but as CU cards go, it sounds like a good one.
As for the Golden 1, I've heard they're good, but I don't know if I'd get enough value out of their 3% categories. I have a plug-in hybrid, so I spend about 20-25 in gas every 6-8 weeks Just 2 of us, so the grocery bill is fairly low, and I usually use the Sapphire Reserve on dining.
The CCU card has been good so far - I hit my $1k or so a month, and I've been getting back 15-25 in cash back. The only quirk I've found is the way they apply payments to balances. I took advantage of the 1.99% cash advance since I'd earn more than twice that much in interest They don't apply the payment solely to the higher interest balance first - they seem to split it between the two. *shrug* oh well, still coming out ahead
oh, and don't worry, I didn't think you were attacking There are a few CUs that I can't join that I'd be cranky if I saw someone who could trying to join SAFE CU (a local one here)
Ah, I get it now. Yeah, I hope you pass up the card, just doesn't seem overly worth it.
Ohhhhh, okay I see now...Boulder Valley CU + plug in hybrid.....I am guessing your wife picked up last years Tofuturkey at Whole Foods in her Subaru wth a Free Tibet sticker on the back? Bwhahahaha Just kidding really, you seem like a lot of fun. And I am guessing by the Discover card you are now in San Jose. Probably raking in the money!
Oh man, that darn Golden 1. Supposedly I can join, but they wouldn't approve any credit products. I'd also really like to join BECU but alas, no go.
So yeah, my advice is to skip on Bellco. I am surprised you do not have Chase Freedom Unlimited to pair with CSP.
