Best Amex to get???

You're right! The thing is I'm pretty flexible as far as rewards programs go. I don't have a hotel rewards card and I was looking at the Delta Skymiles. Perhaps I'll go for the Hilton HHonors and Gold Delta Sky. But then I hear their membership rewards points are really valuable and I wanna try a card that gives those. Just not sure at this point. If I could I'd get them all

Be sure to check out SPG also.  Although it is a "hotel" card, it is a very good transfer card.  It has a very low annual fee compared to many MR earning cards.

Everyone suggests SPG but there are very few hotels of that chain where I live or frequently travel. I don't wanna not get the best benefits

SPG is an an nice card but it doesn't have bonus categories like some of the other amex cards may have.I also thought that OP wanted an no af card.

The reason people like it is not so much SPG chain, but they have a huge range of transfer partners, and a good bonus program.  However, it is hard to earn lots of points except at SPG hotels.

I figured this awesome amex strategy that won't break your bank in Annual fee. And you can reap tons of MR's !!!

 1 . Mercedes Benz card that for the AF of 95$ you get 3x on gas on each purchase up to $400 , and 2x on restaurants 

2. Amex everyday (no fee) 2% on groceries and 20% bonus at the end of the month once you do 20 purchases or more......

it it beats paying the 175 for the Gold PRG a year
