It seems to me that HSBC being able to verify your identity is a very important factor with them.
I wouldn't fret over the small CL- use the card for the rewards points and to build up your Fico's and I'm sure once your scores go up so will your CL.

Anyone know about how long it takes to get the card once accepted? I've read that HSBC takes forever so not sure if it applies to the BB card as well.

Does anyone know if this will prompt a "Sorry but you have recently been accepted for another HSBC credit card" decline message?
Ive had the Orchard since March 09 (almost 1 yr) and Ive tried applying last year for a different HSBC card (not BB RZ) after being preapproved and got this declined message. Ive heard you have to wait 18 mos in between HSBC cards but wasnt sure if this also applied to the Best Buy card....
I filled out the pre-approval application for the BB RZ MC and it came back as pre-approved for the Gold card....

I had an HSBC credit rebuilder card, and when I tried to reapply, they told me that I had to wait 18 months before I could apply for another card. You may want to call them and see if this is the case for your Orchard card.
