Sure, thanks and no since Capital One sold the Best Buy portfolio to Citibank. I think that transaction closes in Q3, so the card will become a Citi. Now my HSBC Platinum MasterCard can probably convert to Venture One later this year, so I'm keeping it.

I got the same email today. My BBRZ is a Platinum with a 9.5k limit. I would ask for another CLI, but last person I heard that asked for one got a HP (Ron1), so I will ride with the limit I have for a while, or at least until it transitions to Citi.

I just got the 5% email this morning!!! They are sending them out to customers staggered.

I'm also a Premier Silver member because I bought $2500 in electronics for the new house in Feb.

What sucks is it won't work on huge purchases unless you plan to pay it all off in a month; otherwise, you will get enormous interest charges that negate the 5% back. So instead, I have been using the promo financing and 2% cash back. Wish they raised the 2% to 3% too. Oh well... lol
