Best Buy Rewardzone Mastercard CLI

My first CLI !!

My Best Buy Mastercard was my first credit card.

This month my 6th statement cut and I decided to call the backdoor number and request a credit limit increase. My limit was $300 and they gave me a $300 increase. The Credit Analyst assured me this would be a soft pull. Its not much, but I really didn't expect anything from HSBC.

Doubled my limit and no hard pull! 

EQ 1/21/12 - 672 (FICO purchased from equifax.com)
TU 1/5/12 - 704 (FICO from walmart)
EX 1/21/12 - 715 (FAKO from experian.com)

EX FAKO from Credit Sesame 1/3/12 - 707
TU FAKO from Credit Karma 1/21/12 - 667

Amex Zync(NPSL) - Barclay Apple Visa($1200) - Citi Plat Select MC($1000) - Chase Amazon Visa($500) - Best Buy MC($600) - Cap One Plat MC($300) - Walmart Store Card($700)

Thanks. I was fully expecting to be shot down. I'm shocked that I actually got an increase.

Just curios. what backdoor number did you use? I checked the thread before and didn't know which one for the RZMC. I only see Best buy or HSBC.

 

I tried the number on the back of the card last month but was declined

After reading this thread, I decided to call the backdoor number for a CLI. Spoke to a very friendly rep mentioned they will need to pull my current report. I agreed, asked from my annual income and 5 seconds later I was approved for another $500 bringing my total limit to $800! Since everything went smoothly, it was only a soft pull. Easy as 1 2 3.

2013 Cards: Discover IT $1500. Zync $500 Hard. Wells Fargo $800. BBRZMC $1750. Cap1 Plat $1500. Cap1 No Hassle $1500. Walmart Store $1050. Amazon Store $1000.
