So I have a Best Buy Store Card (CITI). It is one of my oldest cards. Heck it was either my first or second card that I applied for when I first started college (2007). The card provider has changed hands a few times since than and is now through CITI. The credit limit I had on it was $700 when I first got it and than $1000 at some point and had remain that amount for a few years.

Should I bother to ask for a credit increase? Will it hurt my FICO score? Not sure if CITI does a soft or a hard pull on your credit.

CITI has a reputation of doing hard pull on CLIs
