I guess I didn't "qualify" since I didn't receive any invites. I'll just SD my Best Buy store card and use once in awhile for financing electronics.
Just as a point of reference, my husband's card is not getting upgraded. I am very disappointed, because he has had his Best Buy credit card since 1999. We still use it heavily, and the CL is $3,700. His credit isn't great right now however (high utilization on most of his credit cards, and scores are hovering around mid-660s). I believe they didn't upgrade his account for this reason. However, I personally think nearly 20 years worth of history should have convinced them....
For those that didn't get a letter....check your current CRAs and see if a new CBNA/Best Buy Card is listed with your old history and once closed CBNA/Best Buy PLCC.....I pulled my reports I'm AU on DH card....I have a new card reporting now as showing as a bank card instead of retail...the history stayed it looks like on the conversion

Update: Best Buy still has not upgraded my husband's card to a Visa. HOWEVER, I logged into the account today and saw they have increased the store card credit line from $3,700 to $4,800 automatically! So I guess they don't mind extending more credit, but the Visa upgrade must require something else.
This is a good way to hold him over until then lol !!! Congrats
