Best Buy Visa Signature

Not that it matters much but it looks like Citi will be issuing these asas Visa Signatures. DH BBY visa just came in and it has a 1000 limit. Says signature below. However not sure if this matters much or not but the 2nd digit is not your normal VS 1 you know how it starts like 41....to me Citi just wants that extra swipe fee.

Do you happen to know if his prior MasterCard was Gold or Platinum? Mine was a Gold MasterCard w/o the annual fee. My Visa also came today, but it doesn't say Gold or Platinum or anything. Just Visa. According to the terms on the application, it's offered in Gold or Platinum still as a Visa, and there's no mention of Signature. But, I've seen a few other posts with people getting Sigs!

His MC was a platinum. I think the gold MC was originally issued by cap1 wasn't it?

No since its a store branded card, it must be managed via store CC portal.
