Best Buy underwriting

Trying to get my foot in the door with CitiBank........are the uw requirements as strict with the Best Buy Card as with their regular cards.  Been denied for Simplicity due to too many inquiries is this likely to happen with a Best Buy app also?  Also which CRA do they pull

Generally store accounts are easier to get approved for than the standard citi  credit accounts. Best buy has different credit levels and they will comsider you for their highest one: Best buy MC and then if you dont qualify for that one they will consider you for the store one and finally the BBY MC annual fee.

Their Citi cards are much harder than their co branded cards. However bestbuy is pretty strict in my opinon.
