You said your husband was in the army then you might be qualified for many of the military cu's like usaa. pentagan. navy fcu and so on. a lot of the cu's give generous credit lines and have easier guidelines for people who serve or have relatives in the military.
try Chase Freedom MC. i have heard complaints about Chase but they have been fair with me and Discover not so much
I'm checking NFCU. I don't think I'd qualify as my husband didn't have the length of service (drafted for Vietnam, honorable discharge) to get to the annuity level. Only option for army is (i) retired, still employed and (ii) retired, receiving annuity.
Any insight?
