Looking to get points toward flights on Star Alliance. Have a CSP, which transfers 1:1 - is this the best way to get Star Alliance points?

Ink + CSP + Freedom + United Club = best combos you can get for United.
United Club has a high annual fee but LOTS of benefits, even ones no one has like you can meet your friends and family AT THE GATE like pre-911 days.
As long as you pay your mortgage on a United Club, and use all the cards for their respective categories you'll get about 85k points with about 30k in spending which isn't hard if you include mortgage etc.
