Best Credit Card for Auto Collision Damage Waiver?

Guys,

I am planning to get a card which has good Auto Collision Damage Waiver Protection. 

Reason is that I can save some money for insurance each time I rent a car??

what would be your suggestion for a good card which might give a high $$ Value protection for Rental Insurance Benifits ??

On my Visa Signature letter, it says CDW, but after reading it, I think it's not really a 'waiver' but insurance and you have to claim.

United Mileage Explorer Card has primary coverage

amex has a 25 usd program (you need to enroll but you don't need to pay it if nothing happens ) for primary coverage.

never tried that before but that's what I heard of.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I know, your insurance will cover the rental so if anything happens, your just responsible for your deductable (same as if something happened to your own car). Rental companies make a lot of money by selling the CDW.

you're right. but in that case, insurnace company will increase the premium.

that's why people are looking for other 'primary' coverage from other channels.

normal visa/master card coverage is secondary (after your private insurance pays).

Yeah!!  They charge a lot of money, if  we need to rent for a long time....

So I am looking for a permant card where i can get the insurance :-)
