PayPal actually work out as 1.8% CB on gas (0.6 * 3). Might be close to 2.5% on gift card. Either way it is not a good card if you want reward. Reward do expire in 2 years.
You can get 3.3% CB on gas with BofA if you open a eBanking account too.

where do you get the .6 from for Paypal? 6000 points gets you $50. So each point is worth 0.0083 cents. Which works out to 2.5%. 3 x 0.0083 = 0.0249. or 2.5%.

I say go with the BoA 123. I am currently using it for gas because my Discover More and Chase Freedom don't have 5% on gas this quarter. As long as I have one of my cards in rotation getting money back on gas I am a happy camper. Good luck!

I use either my Hhonors 6pts/$1 or flexperks signature 5% back towards travel
