Isn't Sallie Mae only for people who have student loans(I don't)?
No Sallie Mae is for everybody and it beat out bce and boa cash rewards IMO.its next on my list of cards to get 😊
I don't want to deal with Barclays so that's out for me, but good to know. Looking at the BoA BBR right now.

For me: Sallie Mae - when Sam's/Wal-Mart comes out with their Mastercard that might be on the list for me as well.
I'm curious as to why you're putting the Quicksilver in the sock drawer?
It was a PC from the Platinum with a 24.9 APR/

Nope.
I don't have a SM student loan, but I use it heavily. 5% on gas, groceries, books with monthly spend limit $250, $250, $750 (more than I'd need).
You can use them as
(a) statement credit (you need $25 to redeem), or
(b) transfer to UPromise account (if you're like me and want rebate malls) and then to a SM Checking account for 10% bonus (slightly roundabout but not bad, IMO).
Points earned can be viewed instantly on the monthly transactions page. Unlike AMEX BCE, I never had problem with SM not recognizing the category.
12 month intro 0%. My highest CL so far ($3000).
Got it with a score of 680 (TU). It pulls TU (Barclays).
Also offers you free TU FICO score (frequency not as consistent as Discover though).

Also a suggestion: Try PC to regular Q/S. You won't get the bonus or the 0% APR but the AF will be waived and you'll still have the non-category 1.5% bonus all year round. I PCed from the Platinum to regular Q/S. It has the same atrocious APR but I always PIF.
CL is 2k for me.
Went with the Barclaycard Arrival (No AF). So much for waiting.

And the APR affects you how? Capital One would never be the lender of choice anyways to carry a balance. The 1.5% cash back is pretty excellent, to me.

I don't think it was Apr that bothered op it was the annual fee
