Thanks for all of the feedback!! After some interest %, fee, minimum, etc comparing, I opened an American Express High-Yield savings account - it's currently at 1.15% and has a lot of the features that I think will be helpful. I may add an ING at some point, but I don't love the idea of a hard pull... maybe in the future.

SmartyPig is at 1.35 APY right now and is free to join with a soft pull.  It's actually "fun" to use too.  My Discover brings me 1.3 APY but I do not see that offered anymore.
