I started paying a lot of mine off last Fall ($>9500.00 since then) and I used the pi%#ed off approach, Citi got under my skin so I started paying them off and started to use my AMX and Discover cards in place of the Citi.
A win/win for both of us, they get there money and I feel better. LOL
I still think the best approach is to pick a card and go at it hard and heavy and then snowball from there to another card, it has work well for me.
Also I got just plain tired of being in debt..That was my biggest motivator
