Best card for AA Miles

I know Citi has a few in their stable, including that new Citi AA Executive black card that looks sharp. My DW and I want to stick with one carrier and since we have 20k with AA I think it's best to get cards that will help us rack up miles using our ordinary spending. Also does anyone know if the Chase Sapphire Preferred will allow us to convert points into AA miles?

Its going to be something from Citi. I think AA is OneWorld, so ultimate rewards wouldnt be able to transfer afaik.

Re: Best card for AA Miles

I have the Citi AAdvantage AMEX and Visa. Both are good for racking up miles. I've gotten over 75K bonus miles just from signing up. Not to mention I'm getting extra miles (I think 20%) for the next year and a half on my AAdvantage AMEX. I love both cards.

Re: Best card for AA Miles

If you want AA miles you can also look at the AMEX starwood preferred guest. Not sure what the sign up bonus or anything on it is but they give you a transfer bonus. If you transfer 20,000 starpoints you can get 25,000 AA miles.

So it is esentially a 1.25 mile per dollar spent card while the Citi AA is 1 mile per dollar.
