Oh wow, that doesn't make any sense! I highly doubt I'd be approved for AmEx, but CapOne never balks at my every 6 month CLI request. I thought it was a fairly automatic thing. What does the letter say when you get it? When it has denied me, I got a letter saying that I had already received a CLI within the last 6 months, so I waited another couple weeks and did it again and it went through. Haha! Who knows... I have had both accts for around 7 years, so maybe that plays a part of it.
