Best cards for great credit

My grandparents have great credit and they currently have HSBC gm card now cap one with $10,000 limit. What are some better cards they could get and benefit from? Any with good airline rewards or cash back?

Re: Best cards for great credit

Need more detail

Is 10K GM card with cap1 the only card they have?

How much they spend annually?

Paying annual fee to get more reward worthy?

Do they looking for big sign up bonus? Or high percentage cash/points back?

Which category they spend most? Travel? Grocery? Charity?

She also has a Citi Platinum Select - $15K limit

May charge around $3-5K annually

Don't really want an annual fee

Higher Percentage Cash/Points back

Mostly use for Travel or unexpected expenses.

Re: Best cards for great credit

US bank cash+ is excellent deal, you can put travel and one more category on 5% cash back, grocery or gas or drug store on 2%.

Also consider freedom and discover more for their 5% rotating category

AMEX bce is also good choice.

Re: Best cards for great credit

I wish my family was more open about finances.

My grandfather was a Barnett Bank VP, and I never heard him talk about it, never mind talking about the 100 CCs and their limits (when I say 100 CCs, I'm in no way exagerating)

Him talking to my dad about finances as a kid, would have certainly helped me, as I'm sure he/she (mom) would have been more open to talk/teach me.
