Re: Best hotel/flight rewards card for 60k income

I haven't recommended this card to anyone before, but your spending and travel patterns seem to fit the Citi Thank You Premier perfectly. If you get the card and add your wife as an authorized user, each of you will get a companion ticket each year, and that is huge savings. The card will also give you 15% discount on flight booking, and let you earn extra points from flight mileage.

Most loyalty program cards will not save you more unless you stay at hotels a lot, in which case the Amex SPG card may serve you better, or fly business or first class, in which case the CSP may come out ahead.

That citi card sounds really good for us! Especially the no foreign exchange and the chip (for Canada since we go there a lot). So each authorized user gets a companion ticket annually?

Is it a visa or MasterCard?

Defaults to Visa, but you can request it in a MC.
