Best way to Recon Citi Diamond Preferred?

So...
I took the plunge and apped for CDP recently. I got denied due to "too many recently opened accounts"
They pulled EQ. My score is like 700+. I've only opened Chase, Discover, and Amex in the past few months just to continue my transition in my credit journey to have "prime" accounts. Most of the success I've seen on the internet is with writing the Exec Office, which seems like a hassle, or getting an old lady to recon me. I was told to wait until I get the letter, which I've yet to receive. Lol... I feel like I could prob get somewhere without the letter though.

So what should I do? I feel dumb for gettin denied esp. since Ive busted my azzzz to get my fico this high and keep all of my stats in line. Surely, someone over at Citi gets that having a Citi card is better than have a Crapital1 card or "Orchard Bank" LOL?

I mean.... Get real Citi; I have a $10,500 Amex for God's sake!!!!!

Ideas? Thoughts? Lol

Call ND executives office. And ask but ive never seen a successful citi recon.. didnt work for me

I have a 15000 amex and got denied lol , I was just able to recon it. Just keep calling until you get someone nice. [mod cut]

I had good luck with a CLI recon by calling their Credit Department directly in SD. I had my card for 5 years and wanted to increase the limit before PCing to what I have now (HHonors Visa Sig). The gentleman in the credit department was polite, we had a real conversation and of course he raised my limit. 

I cannot say if the Credit Department will help for a new account though.

I also have the number for an executive assistant and the email addresses of the execs I found when I was trying to get something done on my account. If you email the execs all at once, you could expect a call within 24 hours, but as alwasy, YMMV.

WOW!  How long did they reconsider?  Did they immediately say no?

Oh... I blathered about why I opened accts and discussed my super low util...it was a goid 10 min call... I was nice and informed sounding I believe... She just would not have it. She said she couldnt see my report, but then said I opened 7-8 accts recently, which is inaccurate. Ughhh
