Better to ask for CLI or apply for a new card?

I have a barclay carnival mastercard with a $500 limit. I already have 4 cards(2 cap ones, home depot and this one) and only 1 reporting a 1% util., My fico is 615. Is it better to ask for a CLi on this card or just apply for a new barclay card or with someone else?

Depends on how many inqs you have, how old they are, how long you have had your cards. I don't know if Barclays does SP CLI requests or not, hopefully someone can chime in on that. I'd say you need to get your score up some. If you can request a CLI with a SP then I would do that. I would not take a HP as with a low score like yours it may do more harm than good. You may need to wait to bring up your score some before taking HPs on new cards/CLI requests.
