Beyond upset. Apartment added to my CR as an account

Got an update from CK staying my town home that i was renting , and I just moved last week, added this to my CR. New account with a start date of June 2014. Can they do this ? It says "rental agreement " but payment history is unknown .

There are quite a few rental management companies that are starting to report.  This is meant to help those who rent and don't have a mortgage to report to their credit.

I hate hat they did this without informing me . 2 years later , FYI we left because I got attacked by an off leash pitbull, tore my arm up and hurt my shepherd . Lawsuit is on its way

Rental history is one of the things that's been added to FICO 9, so if your apartment wants to report it, it can definitely go on your credit.

I wish my apartment would report, with full history of course. I've lived there over 25 years.
