chase took over my hsbc account a couple years back and did basically the same thing and ended up closing my account after i was riding the limit for too long. my interest for that last month actually took me over my 4k limit. that's what thru the final flag for them. i continued and paid off the closed account for over a year. now they want me back since i've learned to appreciate my cl's and respect that my numbers are of my own actions. congrats to you and yours for the addition to the family.
