Biggest CLI through Cap 1 EO?

I got an initail CLI about a year ago from 500 to 4000. I was looking to ask for another one. I was thinking between 12,000 and 20,000. Is that possible thru Cap 1? Anyone gotten a limit increase that big before?

Recently read on one of the forums someone went from 500 to 10K thru the EO.

I got a 5k credit limit increase going from 5k to 10k after having my card for six months. It was a counter offer I had asked for 15k. I don't know about getting larger limits.

I have cards with limits of 12,000 and 19,000, I am hoping they will match that...or come close.

I don't know how realistic that expectation is. The reality is cap 1 is not a lender known for huge credit lines. They won't give you credit lines like amex and chase as quickly. I have seen some people with venture cards that have limits higher than that but ymmv. You can ask for what you like and they will ask you if you would consider a counter offer.
