Bill Me Later SP?

I'm unsure what I am doing wrong then. Everytime I do it, I sign in and when I choose Bill Me Later it brings up the form and says, "sign up and continue".

I just made a purchase this morning wtih my paypal account and it popped up a pre-approval and only asked for the last 4.  I took the bait bc I too thought last 4 meant SP.  I'm going to be so mad if it's a HP.  I wouldn't have taken it if it was a HP. 

I have been reading several of the treads on here and they refer to it as a "hidden TL".  If it is in fact hidden does that mean it won't help your utl?

When I accepted my pre-approval letter it of course was a hard pull. Couple months later I made a purchase that was more than my available 'credit'. I recieved another hard pull. Bill Me Later did say it was a mistake and they sent request to transunion to remove inquiry. Only telling you this because when you attempt to make a purchase above your available credit it is not supposed to be a hard pull, only soft.

Well what a bummer!  I would not have taken a HP for this! Especially if it doesn't help you utl!!

I was logging in to paypal to process my transaction when it popped up.  I didn't get any letters or anything. 

Does anyone know if they do CLI very often?

I was happy to get the approval this morning but now I'm bummed.

Or, in other words, it won't hurt your UTIL.  I have a current limit "up to $330," so if I ran up that entire limit, it wouldn't hurt my UTIL.

That is one way to look at it but the only reason I have any credit cards is to build my credit, not because I need them.  So for my needs I would prefer it report.

I received an email and applied through the email and it was a SP. It seems as though they already get their "pre qual" information from Paypal. I was approved for $500 and they are managed by Comenity Bank now!

I'm sure I'll see the hit next week.  That's all I need.  Take the from the HP and not get the bump from the utl help.  Greaaat....
