I just tried to app for Bill Me Later and they came back with a "unable to authorize" because of my address, bday, or other personal information not matching my credit report? I checked everything 3 times. Checked my latest report from 2 weeks ago and didn't see any errors.

EQ Fico is 740 with no baddies and 1 inq in the last 12 months. Any one have any idea about this? I called BML and they couldn't even find my application in their system.

Also, I tried the transaction twice and am worried about 2 dings now.

Do you have a fraud alert on your file? Regardless I would call them and recon you should be approved no problem.

My wallet: Newest to oldest.

No fraud alert that I know of. They said I was supposed to receive an email with more details but have yet to receive it. Does BML have recon?

I wouldn't even worry with a BML account...its not even reported to the bureaus yet they HP your credit. Pass. Use a credit card and earn points on your purchases!

Dont worry. Although with that score I would of applied for PayPal Extras MC instead of BML

I was actually interested in the hidden TL for going "long" on a big purchase without blowing my util. If it falls through I will indeed go to my trusty Sapphire.

Anytime I have ever tried to Apply for a Bill Me Later account in the last 3 years it has ALWAYS given me that exact same error. I never get a hard pull from them either. I guess there are just certain people they don't want and we are two of them. lol

BML is awesome. I just used mine to buy wheels for my Z and 0 interest for 6 months and 0 payments for those 6 months and it doesnt report! What else could i ask for lol.

I usually pay mine off at the end of month 4 just so i can have 2 months cushion just incase they wanna screw me with the interest!
