Bill Me Later as Paypal Debit Mastercard Backup Source?

I could of sworn this was an option, but i went to try to use my Paypal debit card by way of Bill Me Later as the backup funding source and it didnt work...Is this new?

AFAIK, you can't even connect those both to one Paypal account.

You are thinking othe Paypal Credit card...this is a debit card that comes with your paypal account...

You are thinking othe Paypal Credit card...this is a debit card that comes with your paypal account...


Oh, yes!  Sorry, I read this too fast. 

 

BML seems very hit or miss on how they can be used, so that wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't accessable.  You could try Paypal's customer service, but I hear they're horrible.

I believe you can only use the smart connect or Pay Pal MasterCard as backup funding for the debit card.

The bill me later can only be used as a back up funding for Paypal transactions.....like paying a vendor or person through Paypal.

If you are trying to use it to get cash you could send money to a friend and then have them withdraw the cash from paypal.

Or you could just have 2 paypal Accounts (You just need different email addys) and send the $$$$ to yourself and have a debit card on the other end so you can use those fund immedately. rather than waiting for the ACH transfer to a bank account. 

 

BTW - I have 3 Paypal accounts with each of the 3 credit products link to each one..... PPSC, BML, and PPEXMC
