I didn't read much into it while placing an order online at Walmart, but at first glance, I thought it was just an offer to extend payments at 0% for x-months. I know Walmart already give card holders that type of incentive (it changes monthly). The offer for March was any purchase over $299 has 0% interest for 12 months (revert to beginning if you miss a payment). February's offer was 0% interest for 18 months for purchases over $499. Don't know what this month holds?!?
I didn't read far enough to know BML was a whole separate kinda line. Ya learn something new everyday <--- That's my Walmart Smiley (remember that?)
I think the Bill Me Later and 0% interest for X amt of months a bad deal. It ties up one's money for so many months. It goes back to saying if you can't afford it don't buy or try to buy it.
Yep, I agree rolling a balance over months is a bad idea. I'm from the school of PIF.
Applied last night made a small purchase at Wal-Mart for $100 was approved for a $2000 line of credit.
Congratulations! I also have the same limit with bill me later. Enjoy your new account!
For those of you who like to shop at Newegg, they offer a BML backed CC card that gives you a CL so you can make mulitple purchases, 6 or 12 months no interest and no CRA reporting other than an INQ to open the account.
You can me multiple purchases on bill me later account.
I opened one last night, also. I think my line is $800. Do they really stick to that?

I do not understand that comment at all! Has absolutely nothing to do with being able to afford something.
If someone is willing to lend me money at ZERO % interest for 180 days, why, oh why would I use my own funds?
My own money will be sitting in the bank or stock market making money, while I enjoy a new purchase with six months to spread interest free payments over.
(I used to use the American Airlines (Citi) credit card for AA flight purchases at zero interest for six months, but I now use the Amex PR Gold for the 3X points.)
If you register online at BML, they do post your credit limit, so you can see how much available credit you have. After the initial hard pull they only pull hard again if you request a CLI or try to purchase something that would make you go over your CL They do not report to CRAs and that is one reason I have used them from time to time.
They are well aware that their appeal is based on zero % interest deals and the fact that they do not report to CRAs, many people (myself included) like that very much because it does not affect your utilization.
I do not see my credit line online with my account. Am I just not looking in the right area?
