Okay so here is a subject I have not seen much on yet:
Credit card companies which maintain blacklists.
Many of us here are/have rebulit their credit scores over years. I believe many of us also have probably had collections from many of the major cards out there...so it begs the question that if we screwed up with a company, which companies have a documented history of keeping a blacklist and using it?
I know Amercian Express does. It was one of the questions my wife had to answer when she added me as an AU "Has this person ever defaulted on an account with American Express?" (I hadn't so I got approved as an AU)
How about:
Discover
Chase
Citi
GECRB
etc etc
anyone?
Buehler?
I hear Navy Federal is pretty vicious when done wrong, so add them to the list.
thankfully I have not burned any of them.
I am just interested to see which do and which don't.
It might help folks who are trying to rebuild as well so they don't waste an app on a company that won't let them back in.
Should BofA be on the list?

I am not sure. Never dealt with BofA at all.
So thus far it looks like:
EDITED AND UPDATED 2-19-2013 11:38amPST
Amex - yup
Discover -yup
Chase- yup
Citi - yup but might not on store cards; might let back in if pay back old balance
GECRB - but might be forgiving
NFCU- yup but might let back in if pay off old balance.
BofA - Sounds like it.
Paypal MC - See GECRB
Capital One - Appears not to blacklist
USAA - yup but might let back in if pay off old balance.
Anyone know about:
Penfed
Barclay's
any others...
I know they hounded me for $2 on a checking account a mistake on there part at that! Figure they're even worst on a CC
I've seen people saying they got back in with cap1 after burning them in a bk, so cap1 can't be on the list.
CITI blacklisted me for their main CC.
But not with store cards they underwrite.
updated the list.
Will continue to update as peeps post their experiences etc.
