called bofa to convert it bofa amex acclarated cash credit card but CSR said you ll be answered 26/12/2012 that time I ll be charged for another annual fee
How to get rid of this without hurting account history ?
Thanks for answers
Without speaking to other unknowns of your credit profile (Credit Mix, UTIL, open accounts, etc) I can tell you closing that card won't affect your AAoA for 10 years, when it drops off.

Thanks Jutz
but my accounts are only 4 years old and until last year had only 2 credit card and 1 cheking all with BOA .Util was about %10 just approved for auto loan $79.000 and i dont use mastercard much some time $50 just to keep it alive but paying $29 for nothing ?
Try asking for them to waive your AF because you're considering closing it before it hits. BOA doesn't love waiving fees, but it's worth a shot. It's probably best to have 3+ cards open though, at least according to most. YMMV

This.
Also, instead of calling and saying " I want to PC to X card", try asking "Are there any cards I can PC to that don't have an annual fee?" When I PCed my Platinum Plus to Cash Rewards they gave me an instant decision on the phone. All I did is ask "What cards can I convert this card to?" and they gave me 2 options. That was from calling the backdoor number, not the regular CS number.

Holy crap, you're telling me there may be some chance I don't have my Platinum Plus forever?
