Interesting info here, thanks guys...

I'll have to give them another call after I get my CLI and see what they can do.  For some reason I feel better keeping my main card a Visa instead of a MasterCard, IDK why, but I don't see why they can't PC to a card they still clearly service.  I know a lot of people have FIA/BofA cards not listed on the website.

You've been hooked by Visa marketing

"Visa, accepted everywhere" Isn't that how it goes

I've had the BofA World MC for some time now and it does indeed report the limit to all 3.  I also have an Ameriprise World Elite MC, US Airways Premier World MC, a Chase Sapphire Preferred World MC and several Visa signature cards which only report the high balance, but the BofA card reports the limit.

This thread got me to thinking, so I just called BoA and double checked about the World MC and to also find out exactly which card I was being PC'd over to, its the World MC (Cash Reward Card) not the World Points Card, and I was told by the rep that its going to report the same way the Visa Siggy reports (Flexable Spending CC) I was told once I get the card, if I want to switch it to the World Points card all I have to do is call and they will change it to the World Points and send me the new card.

I want the World MC Cash Rewards, but I want it to report the 5000CL, he confirmed it's a black card (which is the one I wanted) but was told that it's going to report the same way the Visa Siggy did (which is what I didn't want) the original rep I did the PC with told me it would report the 5000CL from day 1, I guess I'll just have to wait and see which rep knows what they are talking about.

I find it odd that a CCC and it's reps never seem to be on the same page and always seem to give you different answers.

I have that exact card (it was an "auto" upgrade from a plat plus a while back) - It reports as a flex spending, The Credit line is there on EX - it is not there on EQ and TU -- High balance reports on all. It is a great looking card! Mine never gets out much as it almost always has some sort of BT on it.

When you say that exact card, are you referring to the World MC Cash Rewards?

Re: BofA Black Visa Signature (not on website)

I used to have two of those black Visa Signature Card and I upgraded one of them into Bankamericard Cash Rewards Visa. Black Visa Signature Card is only WorldPoints Card. It doesn't have any feature like my BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card.  Bank of America offered me 3%-5% cash back for gas, groceries.  The card doesn't look as good as my BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Signature and Accelerated Cash Rewards Amex. Maybe I have the card for a long time. The purchase rate for that account is not that great (16.99%).

Re: BofA Black Visa Signature (not on website)

The terms of the card will stay the same (APR and CL), through a product change.  IDK how the BankAmericard looks better, it looks kind of stale to me, but YMMV I suppose.  By features, I assume you mean rewards?

Any way you can take a picture and blur out the info?

Re: BofA Black Visa Signature (not on website)

How does Worldpoints work?  What is the benefit of this card?  Seems like a straight 1% card with some fairly sub-par redemption opportunities, but I am admittedly unfamiliar with the program and only gave it a cursory review.  But it seems like there are better cards out there.

Re: BofA Black Visa Signature (not on website)

Worldpoints is a standard 1%, but it has the WorldPoints mall which allows you to earn up to 5x the points at select merchants.  I called today, they said since I'm at Platinum Plus I can get it.  I hope I don't get the Platinum Plus worldpoints and I get the Black card.

Re: BofA Black Visa Signature (not on website)

This card doesn't appeal to me at all. I rather redeem cashback at a higher rate than 1%. Are you getting it just because it's black and reminiscent of the more elusive cards such as the Amex Centurion? Most people don't care. I wouldn't either.
