When requesting a CLI, do I just call the number on the back of the card or the backdoor number?
I would do it online and then it will tell you to call if you need to talk to underwriter and it will give you the number.

Credit line is a paultry $1000, and doing it online would only net me a 20% increase, which would result in a measly $1200 total credit line.
That's why I wanted to call directly to try to get a higher amount.
I thought online you can request anything you want.
but either way, backdoor number in thread listed above for back door #
Why don't you call the backdoor # on the sticky above?
I would put a request for 15000 online and then call the number the webpage asks me to call. The underwriter will walk your request with you and give you what he/she can. Keep a good reason handy and make sure that while you tell them the reason, you tell them that you want to make BofA your primary card.
WOO HOO!
CLI from $1000 to $10,000!
I told them that everytime I near the CL on my card, I PIF, then switch to another competitors credit card to continue to charge my expenses.
I also told them that I would rather not deal with keeping track of paying several banks every month and that I would prefer to use my BofA as my primary.
Also, as my primary, I would like to balance transfer all my cards over to my BofA so that I only have a total of 1 credit card bill every month.
CSR said it was a hard, but I DON'T CARE!!!!
*History*
Started off as a $500 secured card.
Unsecured after 1 year, and was given a $1000 CL.
Maxed out the card every month and paid in full for 3 years.
TU & EX in low 700's.
WOW what a CLI!!!!!!
Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Congrats on a well deserved CLI.
